They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
We still aren’t quite sure who “they” are, but we agree. Then again, when you’re into creative design as much as we are, you could say we’re a little biased.
When you think of creative design, what’s the first thing that pops into your head? Famous logos like the golden arches of McDonald’s or Nike’s swoosh? Most people lump creative design in with logos, but that’s really doing a disservice to the craft. Creative design is a method of storytelling, and a logo is but one medium through which to tell it. Sometimes there are words, other times pictures, and more often than not, there’s both. It’s taking one single kernel of an idea and building a cohesive design that ties together disparate ideas or themes in a way that makes someone want to think or act. If it sounds like we’re romanticizing the heck out of creative design, that’s because we are. Like we said, we’re a little biased.
Why is creative design important to your business?
For the very reason we mentioned at the top of the page: Good design is worth it. A well-executed piece of creative design tells a story that resonates with your potential customers and other important audiences. Basically, it allows you to convey vital information—whether that information details why your brand is different from your competitor or that you’re having a BOGO sale next week—in a way that’s more visually pleasing than just a mountain of text.
